Eric Santiago has been practicing Physical Therapy for over 10 years. He received his MS of Physical Therapy from the University of Hartford in Connecticut and his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from A.T. Still University in Arizona. Eric has his Diploma in Osteopractic PT, is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), and is working toward becoming certified in Tactical Strength and Conditioning (TSAC).
Immediately after graduating with his MSPT, Eric worked at Temple Physical Therapy (Connecticut) for 2 years which has one of the nation’s highest-ranked work hardening/conditioning programs. There he worked with various first responders and law enforcement agencies. After that, Eric moved to the Houston area and worked at Nova for another 2 years. There he managed over 30 therapists in multiple locations in the Houston and Dallas FW areas in addition to helping to improve the quality of services provided by the company. Due to his experiences, Eric was then recruited by Legend Healthcare to help establish outpatient Physical Therapy clinics. There he was responsible for all operations of the business. After 5 years, Legend was acquired which provided an opportunity to continue his relationship with the Bay Area community by establishing his own practice, Trinity Physical Therapy.
Eric’s goal for his practice is to help improve his patient’s overall quality of life through physical therapy. He utilizes a comprehensive and systematic program to ensure treatment specific to individualized needs. To do this, Eric combines manual therapy with strength and conditioning programs. As an Osteopractic practitioner, Eric utilizes the techniques of spinal manipulations, dry needling, and cupping to target every level of tissue in the body. This manual therapy is the catalyst that allows for efficient treatment plans and more drastic improvement.
Eric specializes in working with members of all branches of our military as well as first responders. His practice has treated people in every branch of the armed forces. His desire to give back to those that serve comes from his family history in the military (Navy, Marines, and Army) and police force (city, state trooper, and sheriff’s department).
Eric and his wife, Cecilia, along with their two kids, Gabriel and Sofia, have lived in the Clear Lake/Bay Area for over 8 years. In his spare time, he enjoys fitness-oriented activities such as martial arts and spending quality time with his family.
